The Idea of copying still intrigues me and Diebenkorn has long been a favorite subject matter of mine. I am desirous of mastering the wet oil brush technique and color blocking with card stock when deciding color and proportion.
Here are a few examples of breaking out of the copy mold and trying some new things from what I have learned. Blue juxtaposed with orange seems to be a familiar landscape when I do the personal autopsy on my work.
