The West Indies was the inspiration for the Antigua Chair. Jamician rum inspired the use of Raffia as the body, while plush chennile dons the interior. The idea was to make a chair that looked like it could rock over its back leg even though it is a stationary chair, evoking the feeling of motion conjures up relaxation to the mind.
Raffia, leather welting and Chenille for seating comfort.

The Truxtion Bistro Chair.
The inspiration was created by true happenstance. While driving I was racking my brain on a new idea for a chair design. When I arrived at my destination there it was, sitting in a most delapated state. But the lines of this little chair gave me great inspiration to create his larger brother. By increasing the seat and back height height, and fattening the arms the Truxton chair come to be. This chair just called out to be upholstered in a black motorcycle leather. Once the chair was complete it felt naked, I once again thought about where I had seen the origional and remembering it was sitting, behind a cyclone fence came the inspiration for the criss cross nailhead design, and of course it had to be a black nail.

Charleston Chair
This chair was inspired by a chair at the Old Charleston Hotel. Our version is an adaptation from our Chelsea Chair into this new creation the Charleston Chair, the changes were to create an arm panel that would mirro the inside back panel. Additionally the legs were recreated to make this design a one of a kind.
This chair is extremely comfortable to enjoy an evening of TV or quietly reading in front of the fire. It comes with a companion ottoman if desired.

inspired the design for this "Hair On Hide" cocktail bench.
We custom created this bench for putting your feet up after a long day on the urban trail.
The absence of frills is abundant with this furniture series.
It artfully combines Hair on hide Leather with modified parsons styling with lover shelf and a Dark Walnut finish over Poplar.

Cubist Zebra Ottoman

Cubism is a style developed in the early 20th century, characterized chiefly by an emphasis on formal structure (the cube) the reduction of natural forms (the zebra) to their geometrical equivalents, and the organization of the planes of a represented zebra independently of it's origional representational requirements.
Therefore the Cubist Zebra Ottoman was born.
Dark Brown Mahogany finish over Poplar. Pewter nail head trim are standard treatments.

The Slatted Bench was a design for a client who's only request was to have a place to hide her magizines when not in preview.
She loved the result, we did too and so the Slatted Magazine Bench went into our custom line of Benches.
Leather with Tapered Leg bench with lower shelf and a dark walnut finish over Alder.

This bench was designed for a clients Master Bedroom the shape reminded us of a horseshoe and the client was French, so it was aptly named the Cheval Bench.
