ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS AND AVAILABLE OPTIONS
1. All prices are FOB SERRA DESIGN iNc factory, Burlingame, CA 94010. Furniture can be shipped blanket wrapped or cartoned. Net cartoning charges: Sofa-$125.00 Chaise, -$95; Love seat- $125; Chairs - $85; Otto - $55; Unit with Sleeper - $170. + Labor $65.00 per hour.
2 SERRA DESIGN iNc. will not be responsible for any damage that occurs in transit. Please inspect your shipment carefully. If there is any visible damage to either the carton or the furniture, note same on Bill of Lading before you sign it. Your claim is with the carrier.
3. Merchandise may not be returned or repaired at factory expense with an unpaid balance.
4. Terms are COD. The designer is our client, even if there is a second party recipient.
5. Orders are acknowledged by a Fax Quote. Read it carefully and compare it to what you ordered. If there are any discrepancies, advise the factory in writing, otherwise your order will be placed into production as acknowledged upon receipt of deposit and fabric. Scheduled date of completion is set upon receipt of deposit and fabric, if delayed. Any questions or discrepancies on the order have to be answered before it can be placed into production. Please answer all inquiries promptly so as not to your order.
6. Cancellations or changes cannot be accepted after the frame has been ordered or fabric has been cut.
7. This List shows amounts of yardage, for both fabric and leather. Specify if your fabric can be railroaded, some fabrics must be cut up the roll: eg:(velvet, chenille, fabrics with a nap or obvious print). The COM yardage requirements match patterns are determined by both the width of the fabric and pattern repeat. Use the chart below to determine the additional yardage required. Additional yards should be sent for welt on the bias and for arm covers. Alway specify which way fabric is to be cut, state if pattern is to go vertical or horizontal on furniture, and attach a sample to your purchase order. If not stated we will use our discretion.
8. Please send all COM/COL yardage to SERRA DESIGN iNc , 1239 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010, prepaid and marked with your name, PO number, sidemark and item it is to be used on. We reserve the right to reject any COM/COL fabric that we feel is not suitable for upholstery and we cannot be responsible for wearability or suitability of fabric that you select. Some fabrics need to be stocking backed. Please send only enough COM/COL for your order. We will not be responsible for left over fabric. If you request leftover fabric to be returned, it must be noted on your purchase order. Any request after production will be charged minimum $35.
9. Orders may be place on a 3 to 4 week rush basis for an additional 25% on approval. All merchandise left unpaid for 30 days after being notified of completion will be considered abandoned and donated.
