SERRA DESIGN Inc. is proud to offer you, the Interior Design Professional, over 40 years of design of

manufacturing expertise in the fabrication of custom upholstered furniture. 

Our process begins with understanding  your clients needs and presenting working solutions.

Additionally we offer our own line of furniture, which can be adjusted by any 1" increment to accommodate

your specific needs. 

CAD

 

We begin your project with a CAD drawing and work with you through to the completed pieces of furniture. . 

 

ENVIROMENT

It is our commitment not to use old growth timber. Our furniture frames are constructed with renewable sustainable hardwood, utilizing timber grown for this purpose.  We use many Green products in the construction of our furniture as well.   Jute Webbing and burlap, natural 50/50 Cotton.

 

UPHOLSTERY TEAM

• The making of  custom upholstered furniture is a reciprocity. The upholsterer and cutter seamstress are an all-important part of our commitment.

• Each has been trained in the Old World Technique and offers you over 100 years of collective experience.  Each upholsterer understands all aspects of furniture fabrication, from the spring-up of the frame through to the final stitch on the skirt.

• Each Cutter and seamstress understands the importance of pattern placement and fabric matching.

• We are always looking for ways to make design improvements, and we are quick to have them implemented in our furniture.

• This department’s commitment to customer satisfaction is second to none. 

• Their commitment is found in their pattern matching and fine tailoring.

We offer an extensive family of Cushioning for all or our furniture, either on our custom made or Our Home Line.

We additionally provide private label manufacturing for other high-end furniture companies. 

We currently produce a line of High-End furniture for a nationally known furniture company.  

 

We currently have a 30 year long-term relationship with customers such as POLO / Ralph Lauren HOME, creative services department in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and, Hawaii, stores. We also work with LEVI STRAUSS CREATIVE San Francisco.  Additionally we work with many local and national interior designers as well as International designers and architects. 

You as the professional interior designer are always invited to tour our brick and mortar facility to go over your

design needs for both residential and commercial furniture applications.
